Carousel

Open Carousel from the sidebar, or pick Carousel in the switch at the top of Pixelsmith. You need an account to make one. New accounts start with free credits.

1. Type a topic, paste your text, or paste a link to an article or PDF (up to 6,000 characters). Stuck? Press the sparkle button for a random idea.
2. If you like, pick the model, style, shape, number of pages and your brand. Then press Write slides. Writing is free and takes under a minute.
3. Check your slides. Change any headline, text or number. Change a slide's layout, move slides around, add or remove slides, or swap the cover headline for another hook. Every slide needs a headline.
4. Pick a look from the three suggestions, or press See all styles.
5. Press Make N slides. The button shows the price. Slide 1 is drawn first, then the rest, three at a time.
6. Flip through the slides, then download or share.

Press Stop while slides are being drawn to cancel. Slides that were not finished are not charged. If slide 1 fails, the rest are not drawn.

• Carousel searches the web while it writes, then checks every fact a second time. You do not need to turn this on.
• Paste a link and it reads the page for you.
• It picks a way to tell the story, like a list, a how-to, myth vs fact or a head-to-head, and shows which one it picked.
• It writes up to three cover headlines. Swap between them under Other hooks on the cover.
• When a slide is about a real person, a Person field names them, and that slide shows their face.
• It also writes a caption with a few hashtags, ready to post.

Press Write slides again with the same topic and page count, and you get the same words back. After you make a carousel, this copies the words into a new one so you can try another style for free. Press Write new ones for fresh words.

• Pages. 3 to 10 slides, 5 to start.
• Shape. 4:5 Portrait (to start) or 1:1 Square.
• Style. 10 looks, or Auto to let Carousel suggest three. Tap a style tile on the start screen to see a real 5-slide sample first.
• Borrow a style. Paste a link to an Instagram carousel you like. We study its design and use it for your slides. Its photos, words and logo are never copied.
• Brand. Put your logo and links on every slide. It is on once your brand kit has a logo or links. Pick one of 6 placements and 6 link styles.

Styles

Slide layouts

The cover and the closing slide are fixed. Every slide in between can be one of 8 layouts: Statement, Big number, List, Bar chart, Comparison, Timeline, Spotlight or Quote. Some layouts need data, like rows with numbers. If a slide is missing it, the card tells you, and the slide is drawn as a Statement.

You pay per slide. Redoing a slide costs the same.

A 5-slide carousel on GPT Image 2.5 Flare costs 20 credits. The cheapest is 3 slides on Seedream 4.5 (6 credits). The most is 10 slides on Nano Banana Pro (70 credits).

• Download all gives you a ZIP with every slide, the words and the caption.
• LinkedIn PDF gives you one PDF with every slide, ready to post as a document.
• This slide downloads the one you are looking at.
• Redo slide lets you change that slide's headline and text, then draws it again.
• Edit the caption under the slides and press Copy.
• Share gives you a public link, plus X, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. On a phone, Instagram gets all slides as one post. On a computer, the slides download and Instagram opens. A link works for 30 days after the last slide was made, or until you press Stop sharing.

• Writing and checking the words is free.
• Each slide is charged only when it is drawn. Failed or stopped slides cost nothing.
• If you do not have enough credits for the whole carousel, it tells you before anything is drawn. Pick fewer pages or buy more.
• Carousels are kept for 30 days after the last slide was made.
• Deleting a carousel does not give back credits for slides already made.
• On Free, slides are made up to 1280 pixels on the long side. Pro gets the full size.
