Where to find it
Open Pixelsmith from the sidebar, or type into the prompt box on the home page. The home box takes you to Pixelsmith and starts your image there.
The switch at the top picks Image or Carousel. This page is about images. For slide posts, see Carousel.
Make an image
- Describe what you want in the box. Up to 6,000 characters.
- Pick a model, a shape and how many images (1 to 4).
- Press send. Most images take around 15 seconds.
- Your images show on the right. Download them, share them, or press Edit further to change one thing.
Press Stop while images are being made to cancel. Images that were not finished are not charged.
Start fresh clears the box, the images and any attached pictures. Your settings and history stay.
Expert touches
Every prompt gets expert touches, for free. Pixelsmith works out what you are making, like a sale poster, a headshot or a product photo, and adds the rules a professional designer would follow for it.
- Your words and your model never change. The touches are added after your words.
- Small tags on the image show what was added, for example UGC · Golden hour.
- Long, detailed prompts (over 600 characters) are used as you wrote them.
- If you already picked a style, a saved style or a Style picture, no extra look is added.
- If your request is a job for another tool, like removing a background, Pixelsmith offers to open that tool.
- It adds a second or two before drawing starts.
Settings
- Sparkle button. With an empty box, it suggests a prompt. With text in the box, it rewrites your words into a stronger prompt, and you can undo it. It costs no credits. You can use it 30 times a day on Free and 100 on Pro.
- Model. Each row shows what the model is good at and its price. GPT Image 2.5 Flare is picked to start.
- Shape. Up to ten: 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9, 3:2, 2:3, 4:3, 3:4, 5:4 and 21:9. Some models offer fewer. Square is picked to start. If you switch to a model that cannot make your shape, it goes back to square and tells you.
- Images. 1, 2, 3 or 4 from one prompt.
- Style. A quick look added to your prompt: None, Digital Art, Photorealistic, 3D Render, Anime, Oil Painting, Watercolour or Line Art. Free.
- My style. Use a look you saved before. See Saved styles.
- Add my brand. Put your logo and contact details on the image. See Brand kit.
- Web search and Designer mode. Look up facts first, or let Pixelsmith design the poster for you. See Web search and Designer mode.
- Upload image. Show a picture instead of describing it. See Reference images.
There is no quality setting. Each model always makes its best size. On Free, images are made smaller, up to 1280 pixels on the long side. Pro gets the full size.
Models and prices
Every model is open to every account. "Takes pictures" means the model can use reference images. "Keeps faces" means it can keep a real person looking like themselves.

The price of a run is the model price, plus 1 credit for each extra attached picture after the first, times the number of images. For example, GPT Image 2.5 Flare with 3 pictures attached and 4 images is (5 + 2) × 4 = 28 credits. Hover the send button to see the price before you press it.
Change one part
Press Edit further under an image, type the change (for example "make the jacket red", up to 600 characters) and press Enter. The new version arrives next to the old one, so you never lose the original.
- The edit uses the same model that made the image. It costs the same as one new image on that model, and the Apply button shows the price.
- FLUX 2 Flash, Ideogram V4, Recraft V4, Z Image Turbo, Krea 2 Turbo, Soul and Soul 2 cannot edit. Make the image with another model if you want to edit it.
- The whole picture is redrawn with your change. You cannot pick an area yet.
Edits are saved to your history like any image, and an edit of an edit stays an edit when you come back.
History
- When you are signed in, every image is saved for 30 days. Your last 8 runs show in a strip under the page. Press View all for the rest.
- Deleting an image cannot be undone, and the credits are not given back.
- As a guest, images live only in the open tab and are gone when you refresh.
Credits and limits
- You only pay for images that arrive. If you ask for 4 and 1 fails, you pay for 3.
- If the safety check refuses a prompt, no credits are used.
- If you run out of credits, a window opens so you can buy more.

Daily counts reset at midnight UTC. Too many requests in one minute (more than 20) and Pixelsmith asks you to slow down.
