You can connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram account to Pixeloop and post to it from the Calendar. This page explains what we keep when you do that, and how to have it deleted. Questions? Write to hello@pixeloop.app.

01The short version

  • To stop posting, disconnect the account in Pixeloop’s Calendar.
  • To cut our access from Facebook’s side, remove Pixeloop in your Facebook settings.
  • To have everything deleted, email us. We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.

02What we keep

When you connect an account, we keep only what we need to post for you:

WhatWhy
Page or Instagram account detailsIts id, name, username and a link to its profile picture, so we can show it in Pixeloop and post to the right place
An access key from FacebookLets us post for you when you are not online. We store it encrypted and use it only to post what you scheduled
Your postsThe picture or video you picked, the caption, the time, the link to the live post and whether it worked, for your Calendar and activity list

We do not read your messages, comments, followers or friends, and we do not save anything from your personal Facebook profile. We never post anything you did not choose to post.

03Stop Pixeloop posting

  1. Open Calendar in Pixeloop.
  2. Press the × on the account you want to remove.
  3. Press Disconnect.

Pixeloop stops posting to that account straight away, and any posts still waiting for it will not go out. To also erase what we kept about it, follow section 5.

04Remove Pixeloop from Facebook

  1. On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
  2. Go to Business integrations.
  3. Find Pixeloop and press Remove.

Our access key stops working at once. Pixeloop can no longer post to your Page, or to the Instagram account linked to it.

05Ask us to delete your data

Email hello@pixeloop.app with Delete my Facebook data in the subject. Send it from the email you use for Pixeloop, and tell us which accounts it is about, or say “all of them”.

Within 30 days we delete, for those accounts:

  • the access key,
  • the account details,
  • your post records and activity entries.

We reply to confirm once it is done. Posts that are already live on Facebook or Instagram stay there, because they belong to your account. Delete them in the Facebook or Instagram app if you want them gone.

06Deleting your Pixeloop account

Deleting your whole Pixeloop account is covered in our Privacy Policy. If you also want your Facebook and Instagram data gone, say so in the same email and we will do both together.
